A BASIC GUIDE FOR HOW WORK WILL BE CARRIED OUT, PLEASE SEE BELOW

The Conversion

Your loft conversion should be completed within 6 to 8 weeks depending on your property, and type of loft conversion planned.

Phase 1

Scaffolding will be assembled and made safe for tradesmen. Your existing loft hatch is sealed shut – this will be plastered over later. We will create access to loft area and opening for stairwell.
All existing plumbing & electrical supplies to be disconnected and removed.
All waste to be removed by grab loads or skip hire.

Steels and security

All structural steels, joists and New conversion walls to be installed and made secure as part of building regulations.

Plumbing & Electrical

All existing plumbing work to be removed and relocated to unused areas of loft space.
rewiring the loft area for new fittings and lightings.
Double glazed. new windows to be installed as per clients choice.
New roofing were necessary to be set out and installed.
New external walls are completed in clients preferred finish.

Phase 2

The whole of the loft is insulated to comply with Building Regulations.
Internal walls and roofing to be installed and crafted.
New stair erected to lower level property.
Plastering new structure.

All new waste pipes, radiators, bathroom fittings to be installed.
Electrical light fittings, sockets and other electrical wiring are connected to the wiring in your loft.
Connection is made to your existing electrical board.
Skirting and architrave is fixed throughout your newly converted room/s.
fire doors to be fitted with self-closing mechanism.
